- How-to Guide. Zero Emission Zones. Don’t Wait to Start with Freight!
MOVE21 (H2020). Multimodal and interconnected hubs for freight and passenger transport contributing to a zero emission 21st century (EC, 2020). MOVE21 tackles passenger and freight transport in an integrated and coherent way in six urban nodes so that policies, infrastructure (physical and digital), vehicles and energy sources serve both. This integrated approach, from policy definition, to planning and implementation, will be disseminated across Europe.
LEAD (H2020). Low-Emission Adaptive last mile logistics supporting ‘on-demand economy’ through Digital Twins. LEAD creates Digital Twins of urban logistics networks in six cities (TEN-T urban nodes), to support experimentation and decision making with on-demand logistics operations in a public-private urban setting. City logistics solutions will be represented by a set of value case scenarios that address the requirements of the on-demand economy.
eMobilita (H2020). Electromobility in urban transport: a multi-dimensional innovation, socio-economic and environmental effects. EMobilita studied the conditions, prerequisites and incentives for electromobility integration in urban transport and elaboration of a roadmap for its development.
CITYLAB (H2020). City Logistics in Living Laboratories produced a set of living laboratories, where cities work as contexts for innovation and implementation processes for public and private measures contributing to increased efficiency and sustainable urban logistics. In particular, it: (1) improved basic knowledge and understanding on areas of freight distribution and service trips, (2) tested and implemented seven innovative solutions, and (3) undertook replication activities.
GLAMURS (FP7). Green Lifestyles, Alternative Models and Upscaling Regional Sustainability developed theory, models and evidence on obstacles and prospects for the transformation to green economies and lifestyles in Europe. It adopted a multi-scale, multi-region integrated research involving psychologists, economists and policy experts studying individual and societal levels, combined with environmental impact modelling of the effects of scenarios and policy interventions on lifestyle and economic transtions.
