Rome SUMP – Logistics Living Lab

To pursue the objectives identified by the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of the city of Rome, the rationalization of urban logistics intends to harmonize the supply needs necessary to increase the vitality of the economy and of the society. These objectives must be achieved while guaranteeing the principle of sustainability.

To achieve these goals, a permanent logistics living lab (LLL) is established to involve all relevant stakeholders to co-create efficient and sustainable solutions. This represents the natural continuation of the EU-funded CITYLAB project.

TRELab is the coordinator of this living lab. It will follow a qualitative and quantitative approach to gather and it will help to develop models and implement solutions. At first, these solutions will be experimented in test projects with the aim of scaling up.
